The STEER U.S. Open Networking Event brought together students, donors, and volunteers in a powerful evening of connection and purpose. Thanks to the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers, STEER students had the opportunity to network, learn, and showcase their passion for growth. Attendees called the event a true success, highlighting how collaboration across the community creates meaningful opportunities that prepare students for future success. We look forward to building on this momentum in future initiatives!
A group of Sleepy Hollow High School STEER student-athletes recently volunteered their time with the Horseman’s Harvest Food Pantry to deliver food and water to 36 senior residents at the Sleepy Hollow Assisted Living Facility. The students spent the day not only handing out essential supplies but also offering kindness and conversation to the residents. The effort highlighted the students’ commitment to giving back to their community and demonstrated the positive impact of youth leadership and service beyond the athletic field.
AYSO Yonkers Region 1679, CSEE, STEER and Eastern FC Collaborated to bring Free Fun Soccer to 1st-5th Graders at CSEE in Yonkers this Spring. STEER Upperclassman at CSEE served as assistant coaches and administrators with Coaches & Directors from Eastern FC to bring a positive, fun learning environment to the students in the Spring AYSO in house program. The Upperclassman and coaches all received US Soccer Federation Grassroots Coaching Licenses subsidized by STEER and Eastern FC. Your browser does not support viewing this document.
