Rosa TaylorWith 34 years in public education and 17 years of administrative and supervisory experience, I have a deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and community engagement. My expertise includes evaluating teachers at all levels, implementing the Full-Service Community School model, and developing innovative staff development programs.
As a strategic leader, I have successfully managed federal budgets, secured and administered grants, and worked collaboratively with school communities, administrators, parents, students, and staff. My ability to inspire and motivate teams has led to the creation of high-quality educational programs that prioritize student success. I am passionate about ensuring that every initiative and decision enhances the educational experience of the children and communities we serve. Through creative problem-solving and effective leadership, I strive to drive positive change and continuous improvement in education. Rosa holds a B.P.S in Economics from Pace University, an M.P.S in TESOL and an Advanced Administrative Leadership Certification from Manhattanville University. Currently she supervises future teachers as a Field Supervisor in the Master's Program at Manhattanville University. She knows firsthand the power that education, mentorship and service have on a student athlete's life as the parent of a former student athlete and coach who attended the Port Chester Public Schools.
