PROJECT BASED LEARNING PROGRAMThrough this program, students develop a project of their choice and participate in a leadership course through Lead4Change. In 2019, our students formed The PC Hunger Fighters. The group engaged in a Project Based Learning Program that culminated in installation of vertical gardens in the Weber Drive Community Garden in Port Chester, NY
These students earn a stipend by participating in the Lead4Change leadership course while developing and completing a meaningful project. Our 2020 program expanded the capacity of the PC Hunger Fighters, who continue to combat the issue of food insecurity in the Port Chester community. |
