About Anthony
Anthony (AJ) Marini Jr. is a dedicated community member and former collegiate baseball player with a strong academic foundation in Sports Management. A 2019 graduate of Port Chester High School, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Mitchell College and a Master’s degree from SUNY Cortland, competing at both the Division II and III levels. Deeply connected to the Village of Port Chester, Anthony is passionate about mentoring the next generation and giving back to his community, inspired by his family’s longstanding local business roots.
He is also the founder of the Port Chester Pirates Collegiate Baseball Team, a community-driven initiative he led from 2021 to 2024 in partnership with the Port Chester Youth Baseball League. As the first collegiate-level team under the PCYBL umbrella, the program provided an affordable and competitive summer baseball experience for local athletes. What began as a way for friends to stay connected through the game evolved into a prideful community program, bringing together over 100 players across four seasons and strengthening hometown pride.
Anthony is a lifelong resident of Port Chester.
