Corporate & Foundation Support

  • Agatha Durland Foundation:  The Agatha Durland Foundation has awarded STEER $10,000 and will participate in STEER's Ambassador Program.

  • BTIG:  STEER was honored to participate in BTIG's Charity Day in 2017, 2018 and look forward to participating in the future.

  • CVC Capital Partners: CVC Capital Partners provided STEER with a Platinum level donation as part of our 100 by 2020 campaign.​

  • Finish Line Youth Foundation: STEER was awarded $5,000 as the recipient of the Finish Line Youth Foundation's Healthy Lifestyle Grant.  STEER was one of the select few chosen as a recipient of this grant among an applicant pool of over 5,000 vying organizations.

  • Friendly Sons of St. Patrick:  STEER was awarded $5,000 from the Friendly Son's of St. Patrick.

  • Foundation for Impact on Literacy and Learning:  A group of STEER students known as the "PC Hunger Fighters" completed the Lead4Change Student Leadership Program and installed vertical gardens in the Weber Drive Community Garden which earned them one of seven national grants. The PC Hunger Fighters chose to fund STEER with a $5,000 grant.

  • Goldman Sachs: As part of their matching gift program in 2020, Goldman Sachs matched an employee donation and contributed $9,000 to STEER.

  • Google: STEER received a donation from a Google Employee, and through the American Endowment Foundation, Google matched the contribution of $250.

  • Lawley Insurance:  Lawley has committed to funding STEER programs for $5,000 per year from 2018 to 2021.

  • Marcia Brady Tucker Foundation: This Foundation supports worthy educational initiatives for at risk populations and is very diligent and selective in awarding its grants.  STEER was awarded a $20,000 grant over two years from the MBT Foundation to support the STEER College Readiness Test Prep Program.

  • Morgan Stanley: As part of their matching gift program in 2014, Morgan Stanley matched an employee donation and contributed $4,000 to STEER.

  • NYCDCC Relief & Charity Fund: STEER received a grant for $50,000 in 2019 and 2020 to support our 100 by 2020 campaign.

  • Old Oaks Foundation:  The Old Oaks Foundation has awarded STEER $10,000 in 2019 and will participate in STEER's Ambassador Program.

  • Pro Football Hall of Fame:  The Pro Football Hall of Fame donated items and hosted an auction fundraiser for STEER at the CORE:Club in New York City that resulted in $40,000 of support for STEER. 

  • Valmarc Development:  Valmarc Development has provided in-kind office space for our New York Headquarters since 2015.  

  • Westchester County Youth Bureau: STEER was awarded the Invest in Kids Grant for $45,000 per year in 2018 and 2019 and for $46,000 per year from 2020-2022.
