Last night, we proudly celebrated our 25 graduating seniors as they prepare to embark on their next chapter. It was an evening filled with emotion, excitement, and reflection as we recognized the hard work, resilience, leadership, and dedication these student-athletes have shown throughout their journeys. From achievements in the classroom and in competition to their impact within the community, this graduating class has left a lasting mark on the STEER family, and we are excited to see all they will accomplish in the future. We were also proud to welcome and recognize our newly onboarded class, symbolizing the continued growth of the STEER community and the bright future ahead for the next generation of student-athletes.
Congratulations to Pat Keough, Mark Klein, and Michael Klein on receiving the STEER Founders Award. Congratulations to Mike Arias on being honored with the Byron Womack Excellence Award, Chip Wagner on receiving the College and Career Champion Award, and Dr. Joseph Durney on being presented with the newly named Dr. Joseph Durney Humanitarian Award. We also extend our thanks to all of the board members, donors, supporters, and honorees for their outstanding accomplishments, leadership, and contributions to the STEER community.
As the night came to a close, it was a powerful reminder of the impact this community continues to make on the lives of young people. We are incredibly proud of our seniors and grateful to everyone who continues to support the mission of STEER as we look ahead to an even brighter future together.
