PURPOSE

The Alumni Program allows college students and young professionals the opportunity to network with our community members from various professional domains. Once students finish our Pathletes Program or College Persistence Program, they then become STEER Alumni. We offer a variety of opportunities for alumni to grow, connect, and engage with members of the STEER community.

PROGRAM

We hold networking events throughout the year for young professionals, community members, and like-minded individuals to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas. Attendees have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, explore potential partnerships, and expand their professional networks. For example, in 2023, we held a Paint and Sip event that allowed our students the opportunity to connect with the CFO of NBC, as well as a networking dinner at Colony Grill that allowed young professionals to learn more about careers in finance with STEER community members who work at J.P. Morgan, in hedge funds or in real estate investing.
