Chaquon Jones-Hollis was born and raised in Port Chester, NY to the late Charles and Wanda (Irving) Jones. Mrs. Jones-Hollis was educated in Port Chester-RYE UFSD. Mrs. Jones-Hollis took pride in contributing to her hometown by participating in various community service organizations and an asset to her schools’ culture. Mrs. Jones-Hollis’ mother instilled the love of community service and giving back to your community early on in life.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Iona College, Master of Science Degree in Guidance and Counseling from the College of New Rochelle and New York State Work Based Learning Coordinator certification from SUNY Buffalo.
Mrs. Jones-Hollis career experience includes residential treatment, foster care case management, and School Counseling. Mrs. Jones-Hollis was previously employed at Hawthorne Cedar Knolls UFSD as a School Counselor and Work Based Learning Coordinator. Mrs. Jones-Hollis had the
opportunity to develop and implement a Vocational Program for all students within her previous district. The students gained necessary career readiness that prepared them for post-secondary success.
