The power of athletics and the positive life lessons learned through sport are at the core to how Jason has always experienced life. Jason grew up near Atlantic City, NJ and is honored to be in the Mainland Regional High School Hall of Fame. He was All-Conference in Basketball and Baseball and All-State in Football. He continued his football career as the Kicker at the University of Pennsylvania, winning Ivy League Championships in 1998 and 2000. Jason graduated with several school and Ivy League records including: all-time leading scorer in UPENN history, Most ever Field Goals in the Ivy League, and 1st team Academic All Ivy League.
Professionally, Jason worked at Lehman Brothers and then Barclays for his first 14 years in finance, becoming the Co-head of America’s Cash Trading and a member of the Global Equities Executive Committee. In 2015, Jason moved to Boston where he was the Head Trader and Relationship Manager for Highfields Capital Management, a global multi strategy hedge fund. He moved to Rye, NY in late 2018 after starting at Eagle Capital Management, where he is now a partner.
Jason and his wife, Jaclyn, met as a result of their shared love for sports and philanthropy. He was a volunteer flag football coach for the Alzheimer’s Association fundraiser “Blondes vs Brunettes”. Jaclyn was the middle linebacker on Team Brunette. They are now raising 3 young children (Gigi, Josie and JJ) in Rye, NY.
Jason is active in the community serving on the board of both the Rye Youth Council and the University of Pennsylvania Football Program. Their youngest son, JJ, was born with a congenital heart defect, and as a result Jason and Jaclyn also actively fundraise for the Pediatric Cardiac Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
