Nick grew up in Somers, NY and is a former Westchester Section 1 standout who ended up being recruited to play collegiate basketball for Clarkson University's NCAA DIII program. He graduated with a degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and was inducted into the Sigma Nu Tau Entrepreneurship Honor Society for being in the top 10% of his class. Sports were always a big part of his life growing up, so he recognizes how the lessons he learned from the game have transformed him to the person he is today. The work ethic he showed on the court and the life lessons he learned from Coaches at an early age have been integral to the success he is now seeing in his career.
Professionally, Nick is now a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones where he focuses on securing the financial lifestyle goals that his clients desire today and in the future. His first job out of college was as a Wall Street Consultant where his Managing Director specifically hired student athletes out of school, knowing that the majority of them have the work ethic to be successful in such a competitive business. Nick continues to succeed in a business with one of the highest turnover ratios due to the work ethic and determination he learned from playing sports at a competitive level.
Outside of work, he enjoys being active with his Fiancé, Kimberly, by going on hikes and kayaking. He was playing in numerous men's basketball leagues and is looking forward to those starting again soon. He also has other board experience and is currently the Treasurer of the Young Professionals Alzheimer's Council (YPAC) of the Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter, where he helps organize networking and fundraising events to spread awareness of dementia.
