Kaelon has been a part of STEER since his sophomore year of high school. As a member of our community, we have admired Kaelon's determination to grow both as a player and student. Congratulations to our Port Chester senior, Lesly Morocho, on her decision to attend Cornell University! Lesly will fulfill her dream of attending her first-choice school where she plans to study public health or psychology.
Lesly has been a part of STEER since her sophomore year of high school. Throughout her high school career, she has consistently been a top student in her classes, proven to be a beloved leader as captain of the varsity soccer team, and has actively given back to the Port Chester community through volunteer work. As a member of our STEER community, Lesly's work ethic and dedication to her community make her a standout. We're so happy to have played a supporting role in Lesly's journey and will eagerly await all that is to come for her! Congratulations to our Careers in Sports senior, Elhadji Anne, on his decision to attend Hilbert College! Elhadji plans to study sports management and will be joining the men’s soccer side as a goalkeeper for the Hawks!
Elhadji has been a part of STEER since his freshman year of high school. Throughout his high school career he has proven his commitment to bettering his game by attending soccer clinics at various universities around the Bronx area. As a member of our STEER community, Elhadji has always supported his fellow classmates with his warm disposition. We’re so happy to have played a supporting role in Elhadji’s journey and will excitedly watch along next season as he makes some amazing saves for the Hawks! Congratulations to our Port Chester senior, Joseph Tapia, on his decision to join Stanford University's Class of 2024! With admissions acceptances from Georgetown and Brown, Joseph ultimately chooses Stanford because of the school's computer science course offerings.
Joseph has been a part of STEER since his sophomore year of high school. Throughout his high school career he has exemplified excellence both on the field, captaining the varsity track team, and in the classroom, maintaining one of the highest GPA averages amongst his peers. As a member of our STEER community, Joseph emerged as a natural role model for our younger student-athletes. Joseph says, "I've adapted to the conditions put against me. I am willing to work hard and fight for my dream, and I know I still have room to grow." We're so happy to have played a supporting role in Joseph's journey and will excitedly watch along as he continues to accomplish his goals. West Coast here he comes. |
